About Me

I am an aspiring AI researcher and a recent graduate of Industrial and Production Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).

My research sits at the intersection of Operations Research, Optimization, and Artificial Intelligence. Coming from an industrial engineering background, I view AI not just as a prediction tool, but as a robust engine for solving complex optimization problems in high-stakes environments. My goal is to build data-driven frameworks that integrate Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Digital Twins, and Machine Learning to enhance efficiency and reliability across industrial and healthcare systems.

To reach this goal, I am developing myself along three inter-connected directions:

  • 📊 Operations Research, AI/ML & Optimization: I focus on solving complex logistical challenges by combining Operations Research principles with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs). My work involves developing Graph-based Digital Twins to optimize supply chains, improving route planning, demand forecasting, and system resilience through intelligent, data-driven decision-making.
  • 🏭 Advanced Manufacturing & Digital Twins: I aim to create "intelligent" production environments using Scientific Machine Learning. My research utilizes Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) and simulation to optimize manufacturing processes—ranging from predicting springback in engineering materials to optimizing rare earth element production for sustainability.
  • 🧬 Human-Centric & Biomedical AI: I am dedicated to building safe and reliable AI for healthcare. My work explores Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for clinical text summarization and emotion recognition, ensuring that AI systems used in medical and psychological domains are transparent, accurate, and aligned with human needs.

In my PhD, I want to develop myself in one or more of these research directions, and I am actively seeking a PhD position beginning in Fall 2026.

Mentorship & Collaborations

I collaborate with Dr. Manjurul Ahsan (OU) on Graph-based Digital Twins for supply chain optimization and ensuring scalable, safe clinical MLLM deployment.

I work with Dr. Mahathir Mohammad Bappy (LSU) on the BioTwinMine project, utilizing digital twins to optimize biomining for sustainable material production.

I completed my undergraduate thesis under Engr. Mohammed Abdul Karim (SUST), developing an XAI-enhanced framework that combines machine learning with mathematical modeling for manufacturing process parameter analysis.

Additionally, I explore predictive accuracy and climate resilience using PINNs under the mentorship of Dr. A M M Mukaddes (SUST).

My research has been accepted in prestigious venues such as NeurIPS, NAACL, SemEval, and ICCIT. I am a quick learner and highly adaptable, able to lead teams and projects. I enjoy exploring new topics, sharing knowledge, and pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve.
